Call for Artists (Exhibition Invitation)

Center for Slavic Arts and Culture invites artists to participate in an exhibition taking place April 18 – May 31, 2026, at:
Piedmont Center for the Arts, 801 Magnolia Ave, Piedmont, CA 94611.

Due to limited exhibition space and a high number of applicants, participation is competitive and subject to a juried selection process. All submissions will be reviewed by a jury, which will select the artists for the exhibition.

To be considered, you must submit an application.

Submission Requirements: Size & Number of Works

  • 2 to 4 medium works (approximately 24″ × 20″), or
  • 2 large works (30″ and larger).
  • All styles and techniques are welcome.

How to Apply

To submit your application, please:

Complete the online application form (link at the bottom of the page).
Prepare the following information for each artwork: high-quality photos, title, dimensions (in inches), medium/materials, and price.
Add a brief artist bio and a link to your website/Instagram (if available).
Pay the $20 Entry Fee (non-refundable submission fee).

Application Period

Applications will be accepted from February 15 to March 15, 2026, until 11:59 PM (PST).
Notification of jury results: March 18, 2026 (sent to your email).

If Accepted: Exhibition Participation Terms

You will receive an email with instructions.
Pay the exhibition fee of $120.
Note: Accepted works may not be substituted.
All accepted artworks must be framed and ready for sale.
All sales will be processed through the Center. The Center’s commission is 35% of the sale price.
